I saw myself in your eyes
First time I knew it was love
I never thought it would end
We were meant to be as one
I could have stayed
But I chose to say goodbye

In your eyes I'd like to stay
I really like how you represent two emotions in the poem, emphasising how both love and fear coexist. But also making it clear that if the second one is not controlled, it can eventually take control of you.
ResponderEliminar"You were all i ever wanted; but I always run away" stood out for me the most since felt a connection with it. We always find ourselves running away from what we love just because of fears.
